My name is Adam and I am a fully qualified R.E.P.S Level 3 Personal Trainer operating in Edinburgh and the Surrounding areas. Now there are many Personal trainers out there and I am sure the majority are going to give you a great workout and help you reach your goals. So I guess the question is...why should you train with me? Well my journey to becoming a personal trainer is a little different...
I used to be 26 stone when I was in my mid 20's and I couldn't jog for more than a minute without getting dizzy! I decided that it was time to do something about it, but like most people, I had no idea how or where to start. I tried all the typical approaches; got a gym membership, ran until i collapsed, tried to eat healthier etc.
It wasn't until i got a personal trainer who wrote me a programme to follow and help me to understand nutrition, that I really started getting results. I soaked up the knowledge like a sponge and threw myself into learning about nutrition training with 100% enthusiasm!I soon found myself doing things i could never have imagined. I climbed Snowdonia....I learned to surf...I went on a date...I went travelling...I STARTED BELIEVING IN MYSELF! I rowed 33km(the English channel) in 2 hours and 37 mins in one go....because I believed I could!
This is why I am a personal Trainer.
I want to help others to believe they can do more than they can imagine, that they have greatness within them. I want to show you that you can lose weight, build muscle, run a marathon, Lift over 200kg, Become a bodybuilder, Ask out that girl or guy, Feel comfortable walking down the beach in swimwear, go out to clubs feeling great...the list is endless and specific to you.
